Rich's standard tuning for damn near every Stuck Mojo song as well as 80% percet of all Cafu & Fozzy songs is standard drop C; CGCFAD (from low to high)
When tuning real low for tracks like Here I stand he'll go GGCFAD, dropping the low e string down from C all the way to G, this is hard to get a clean sound with this tuning but try using an EQ. On tracks like "Autum Brings", "Sucide Machine", "Immune" or the stuck mojo track "Hatebreed".
To get his tone is not easy, you need a percice up & down stroke picking style which really adds the chunck to your sound! I recomment getting a tube amp (even if using a practice amp) & put the following settings on(which Rich himself uses)...
Gain-8
Pressence-9
Treble-4.5
Bass-7.5
Mid-5
Dont clutter your sound up with alot of different distortions. In fact try using all amp distortion if that doesn't cut ir...add just alittle overdrive on top of your amp's gain.
